It is no coincidence that all these varied efforts to silence voices critical of Islamic supremacism recall one of the most important laws by which dhimmis must abide within the Islamic state: according to traditional Islamic law, non-Muslims must not speak about Islam in a manner that Muslims consider offensive.

Thus were first enunciated what would become recurring themes of jihad literature throughout the centuries to today: piety in Islam will bring military victory. Allah will send angels to fight with the believing Muslims, such that they will conquer even against overwhelming odds.

Fortunately, thanks to the clear-headed and courageous actions of the security team, the only people killed were the jihad attackers.

As we have seen, the Qur'an implies that Jews and Christians after the time of Muhammad are renegades who have rejected his prophethood out of corruption and malice. Muhammad weaves his charges against Jews and Christians together by condemning Christians for believing that Jesus was crucified, and Jews for believing that they crucified him.

While Washington's statement will be seen by most today as an assumption of "white supremacism" and "xenophobia," in fact, it contains an important kernel of wisdom: without some point of unity, a common polity will fracture and dissolve. Today, we see this happening before our very eyes.

The Jews have earned Allah's anger by rejecting Muhammad (2:90), and the Christians have gone astray by holding to the divinity of Christ (5:72).

The Koran puts forward a clear, consistent image of the Jews: they are scheming, treacherous liars and the most dangerous enemies of the Muslims. Regardless of the actions of Jewish individuals today, and regardless of what policies the State of Israel follows, the Koran justifies an unrelenting form of anti-Semitism that will be extremely difficult to root out from the Muslim world.

Allah warns the Muslims not to consider booty won at Badr to belong to anyone but Muhammad:

While Islamic apologists commonly claim that the Koran does not refer to Jews or Christians as Infidels, in fact it asserts that "they indeed have disbelieved who say: Lo! Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary" (5:17)—in other words, if you believe in the traditional Christian doctrine of the divinity of Christ, you're an Infidel.

Although the Koran seethes with unrelenting hostility toward the Jews, it's clear from the Koran's many Biblically derived stories that Judaism greatly influenced Islamic theology. The story of Noah's ark appears in sura 10; Jonah and his whale in sura 37. The patriarch Abraham appears in many suras. And as we shall see, Moses figures prominently throughout the Koran, with his confrontation with Pharaoh retold numerous times.

Al-Qaeda is simply an especially virulent outgrowth of Wahhabism. And ISIS is just an especially virulent outgrowth of al-Qaeda.

Besides Jewish and Christian traditions, Islam also contains some traces of pagan traditions. In fact, the Ka'aba, the Meccan shrine to which every Muslim, if able, is obligated to make at least one pilgrimage, was a pagan Arab shrine and a center of pilgrimage long before Muhammad began preaching Islam.
