What is God drunk on? Your love.

He became sin so you could be holy. He was broken so you could be whole. He was a man of sorrow, so you could have joy. He was bruised for your iniquity. He fasted so you could feast. By His stripes, you were healed. He bore poverty, so you could righteously prosper. He felt orphaned so you could be adopted as sons. Let us begin to see Him not so much as a teacher or moral guide, but as one who stepped in and took our place.

The old has gone; the new has come … a different kind of creation. The Kainos Covenant – a different kind of covenant has come. As John Piper often says, God is most glorified in you when you are most satisfied in Him.

God didn't come to fix anybody. He came to kill them and resurrect them from the dead.

Your union with God in Christ is instant and effortless. It happened on the cross and was realized the first moment you believed. It is from this vantage point of being "in Christ" that all other doctrines of the church must be built.

Christianity is perfectly easy or perfectly impossible. It depends on who's running the ship.

Worship is basically adoration, and we adore only what delights us. There is no such thing as sad adoration or unhappy praise.

There's no more need to beg Him to "open the Heavens." He already did that. He checked that one right off the prayer list when the veil of His flesh was torn and all of Heaven opened with it. If you stop asking for that – and actually trust that it exists for you – you will experience that open Heaven every day of your life. A fully supernatural lifestyle.

Likewise, it's never just to cause trouble or be intentionally divisive. It's just that fun needs to be recovered to Christendom.

The inward working of God's goodness tends to produce an uncontrollable wildfire when He takes the helm of clinical, religious sobriety—when He turns our water into wine.

Part of maturing is knowing the difference between striving and actively moving in the unforced rhythms of grace. Fruitfulness all flows from a happy, ecstatic impulse toward our divine calling.

But if the striving toil of self-effort is involved, it ceases to be faith.

We have to see the entire Bible through Pauline eyes. It is the message of grace. A message of righteousness that comes through trusting, not from striving or contending. Furthermore, it is a message that the cross does more than forgive sins. It eradicates the inward propensity toward sin. It does not put you on a road toward union with God. It accomplishes that union in one ultimate stroke. This is the scandal.

Can one truly get closer to God? Has Christ only brought us part way? Consider the analogy of a vine and a branch. It is impossible for a branch to grow any closer to the vine than it already is. The two are physically connected. There is no breach that is progressively being filled. Now, does the branch continue to grow? Yes! It even flourishes, buds and bears fruit. But is it growing toward union, or because of union?

You are not falling in love with God. You fell into Mr. Love. You are united to Love. Love is a Person. Now, just as the sap flows effortlessly through the vine into the branch, so is there a continual infilling of Holy Spirit – a continual infilling of Love Himself. You grow in Love, just as the branch grows.

What does this mean? Believe you are full, thanks to Christ, and you will be what you really are … full! As

When the spiritual and natural orders are in cohesion, it is fertile ground for the miraculous, freedom from poverty, righteous living, healthy homes and happy holiness. Governments are righteous. Pollution and disease are eradicated from society. The perfect cohesion of Eden is restored.

When the Church says "outpouring" she is usually misguided. She is looking for an inpouring – for God to come down from the sky and fill her tank. But the true Biblical definition of outpouring is found here: out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water (John 7:38). Know it or not, we possess His fullness.

Repentance is not the price tag for salvation; it is a first fruit of salvation.

He is your sanctification. Any system that tries to draw your attention away from the person of Christ and onto your own efforts is antichrist in nature. Your union with God is not an incomplete relationship that comes progressively. Time is not the magic formula that makes you holy. Jesus' sacrifice made you holy. Christ's work was enough to purify you, spirit, soul and body.
