At any given time, we are all doing the best we can. The problem is, our best often isn't good enough for us. We then punish ourselves, denying ourselves peace because we feel we don't deserve it. A sad situation remedied when we finally accept, we are doing the best we can.

They know the usual answer, (you have to work to live) but the teen knows the reality… their parents are miserable from doing exactly this. Which is why, God has to come first... because that's where freedom is.

Everything depends on something. The leaf depends on the tree. The tree depends on the sun, air and water. They are only 'part' of the Universe. To depend on God is to know the same and be sublimely happy because of that knowledge.

Life has no purpose. It just 'is.' This is the 'secret' children know and adults forget as they launch head first into a life of compulsion and bondage as they pursue the world. Children do not appropriate and are free. Adults desire the wrong things and throw themselves into exile.

The person of God walks the edge; one side virtue, the other, vice.

To stay on the path means to love God more than the world. To do this you have to let go of power, control, and self-will. A tall order as most pursue happiness on Earth, not freedom in God. Those who have this freedom want for nothing, are content, and live a blessed life.

If you want peace and not sorrow... if you want joy and not pain, say yes to God first. Then the problems of the world will fade away. You won't care about them. You won't worry about them. Because you'll have something far greater to take their place

Giving life 'purpose' is anthropomorphism. It is our own desire for ends or completion. The door is already open. There is nothing to complete, only to know. Heaven on Earth is here.

Those who know God, know eternity. Those who know eternity know salvation because they know death does not exist. Here is the ultimate freedom to be found. To find it, all you have to do is let go.
