Yet, personally, I would rather take the risk of living out God's power instead of reducing my experience in the Spirit down to something I can control.

I have observed that radical faith is so convicting to doubters, the lukewarm, the halfhearted and the religious who have re-scripted the Bible in a way that requires them to live only in the realm of reason. The truth is, you have to either be the next one out of the boat or find some spiritual excuse to relieve your cowardliness.

The Holy Spirit is really good at revealing the root issues at the foundation of demonic strongholds.

We can't grow our faith on the deck of a ship. We can watch other water walkers, hear their stories and read their books, but ultimately, the only way we are going to grow our water-walking faith is to get out of the dang boat!
