What is a dream? It's an externalized thought, a projected thought. Despite what it says, science is actually just a philosophy – the philosophy of materialism and empiricism – but it refuses to commit itself to this. It refuses to state why materialism is right and idealism is wrong. It refuses to state why empiricism is right and rationalism is wrong. And if it ever actually got into any of this, if it dared, it would be intellectually destroyed. That's why it completely avoids the whole issue.

When man no longer regards himself as karmic he ceases to be so. That's the end of karma right there – when people stop believing in it, stop taking the idea seriously, stop treating it as real. Hinduism and Buddhism are total nonsense because they are predicated on karma, which is an illusion! They themselves say so!

You can never make any progress in life unless you actually understand that which operates at a higher level than you, so that you can then try to rise to that higher level. Most people just assume that they are already at the highest level, and so they criticize everything at odds with their beliefs, including the very highest content possible, and thus they never learn, never grow, never evolve.

If you want to be happy, cultivate a passion, be part of something bigger than yourself (have a Cause other than that of yourself), avoid self-absorption and self-obsession, know thyself via knowing others and connecting with others. Above all, connect to more than yourself and your immediate nearest and dearest.

The astounding creativity of the unconscious mind is apparent from its ability to produce our incredible and exhilarating dreams. It's amazing how many people take their dreams for granted and don't stop to consider how extraordinary dreaming is, and how much work goes into producing a dream. Think of the time, effort, personnel and cost that goes into producing a Hollywood blockbuster. A dream can do something even better on the hoof, night after night.
