I hoped people would take me as I am. It doesn't matter where I come from.

With all of the divisiveness that is going on in the country we live in, so much of it is based around just fear of the other. And at the end of the day as an athlete you have to be coachable. And being coachable is a humbling thing.

But certainly, I think that it's important to have humility and to acknowledge that you're learning every day as a leader.

When you meet someone who gives you good advice for your own, you must have the humility to listen.
