Just like I know that the stages of grief - denial, anger, bargaining, acceptance, or whatever - don't come in a neat order. Sometimes they return over and over, like waves that alternate between pulling you under and spitting you back onto the shore -Piper

F]or time itself is conceived as 'coming round'; and this again because time and such a standard rotation mutually determine each other. Hence, to call the happenings of a thing a circle is saying that there is a sort of circle of time; and that is because it is measured by a complete revolution, and the whole measurement of a thing is nought else but a defined number of the units of its measurements.

The second set assert that the contrarieties are contained in the one and emerge from it by segregation, (20) for example Anaximander and also all those who assert that 'what is' is one and many, like Empedocles and Anaxagoras; for they too produce other things from their mixture by segregation. These differ, however, from each other in that the former imagines a cycle of such changes, the latter a single series.

~ Simone de Beauvoir
El fin no es fin sino al término del camino; desde que es logrado, se vuelve un nuevo punto de partida.
~ Simone de Beauvoir
What goes up, must come down... Mustn't it?
~ Siobhan Dowd
For years now I've kind of operated under an informal shopping cycle. A bit like a farmer's crop rotation system. Except, instead of wheat, maize, barley, and fallow, mine pretty much goes clothes, makeup shoes, and clothes (I don't bother with fallow). Shopping is actually very similar to farming a field. You can't keep buying the same thing, you have to have a bit of variety. Otherwise you get bored and stop enjoying yourself.
~ Sophie Kinsella
Weep not, everything must have its day.

We begin in the dark and birth is the death of us
