God does say He will graciously entertain our prayers. He says that if we exercise faith, and if our request is in accordance with His will, He will hear us.

We can never know God as it is our privilege to know Him by brief repetitions that are requests for personal favors, and nothing more.

Faithful continued prayer is one key to answered prayer. As James expresses it, "You do not have, because you do not ask God" (James 4:2).

God's children should pray. They should cry day and night to Him. God hears every one of your cries in the busy hour of the daytime and in the lonely watches of the night.

If you don't ask, you don't get it

A feeling of real need is always a good enough reason to pray.
