Sometimes we don't take time to look at the fruit of our actions, but if we did, surely we would see that worry is useless. I like to say that wisdom is choosing to do today what we will be satisfied with tomorrow or later on in life.

Never make your most important decisions when you are in your worst mood. Wait.

Lord, I want Your will in Your timing. I do not want to be ahead of You, nor do I want to be behind You. Help me, Father, to wait patiently on You!

Be still and know that He is God. Be assured that as long as you trust Him, He will never fail you or disappoint you.

I can tell you that it was not easy. It was vitally necessary in order for us to make progress as a ministry, but it was probably one of the most difficult times ever for our employees. They had to learn entirely new ways of processing information and it didn't always seem to work right immediately. Eventually the old ways were gone and the new was comfortable and much, much better—but everyone had to be patient!

Choose, instead, to believe God is going to do something even better in your life.

Trust in Him Are you upset, worrying, or trying to make something happen? You don't have to be! God has a place of peace and rest for you, and all you have to do to enter His rest is put your trust in Him.

Trust in Him How relaxed are you? Your answer is directly related to how much you trust God. It may take you many years, like it did me, to fully trust Him, but each day will be better and better as you trust more and learn to relax.

Some things you go through in life may not feel good initially, but they will work out for your good if you keep going forward and trust God to strengthen you each step of the way.

Hope in the Lord

Not only must we ask God for things He has promised us but we must receive them (John 16:24).

Pray and trust God, and He will show you what to do at the right time. He will show you because He is a God Who never fails His children (see Deut. 31:6, 8). He is a God of faithfulness, and He always comes through.
