Our life is a long and arduous quest after Truth and the soul requires inward restfulness to attain its full height.

We are all living in the world, and we are part of what is going on all around us. We have things to do, people to see, places to visit. But if that is all we are doing, we are missing out on the point of living. The point is to respond to the heart of God and be conformed to the likeness of Jesus, who is the image of the invisible One. Our quest in this life is the ecstasy of communion that can never be broken. This is not religiosity. It is real spirituality, and there is a difference.

I leave the other side of my life where it wants to stay, and follow the remainder of my life in search of the other side of it.
