With God, anything is bearable. Without God we are cast adrift, cut off from real life. This is why those who have God need very little in the way of things. They're already content. Already far along the path to freedom.

It takes most a lifetime to discover this great truth... we find our greatest joy in God. After years of fighting the world, the tortured adult is ready to surrender. Ready to 'give up.' Ready to... come home.

Do you know why children feel free? It's because they don't take unto themselves what is not theirs. For them, everything belongs to God. And they would have it no other way. They 'share' in this gift that is the world and are free. You too can share in this gift. All you have to do is let go.

A worried mind has forgotten God
