It is God breathed; therefore, it has the ability to refresh and renew the downtrodden.

One of the reasons people fail to trust God and seek His plan for their lives is because they become too wrapped up in their own desires, thoughts, and dreams for the future. The focus of their lives is not set on God and doing His will. It is set on fulfilling their own desires—desires that frequently are not in keeping with His plan and purpose.

Every person has potential and only God knows fully what that is. In the end, He rewards you on the basis of three criteria: how much truth you know, what opportunities He gives you to express it, and what your response is in those moments. Therefore, don't compare yourself to others. Rather, obey Him faithfully in whatever He gives you to do, and He will do the rest.

For pastors, no asset is more precious than the consistent prayers of God's people. However, one major problem in the church today is that people spend more time criticizing their pastors than they do praying for them. More than ever, God's servants need to be upheld in prayer. More than ever they need utterance, boldness, and clarity in presenting the gospel. It is time we stopped criticizing and started interceding.

But if you're a believer, He has given His Holy Spirit to indwell you—so He is always with you (Ephesians 1:13–14). It's an absolute fact: you can never be out of His presence.
